The fateful events of the Second World War left a mark on Konstantino, his wife Alexandra, and their sons Demetrio and Georg, propelling them on a journey of hurdles and relocations. In 1949, Konstantino and family arrived in Buenos Aires, where the artist would complete the majority of his work. During his career, Konstantino lived in San Isidro, Bariloche, Mendoza, in the rural countryside of Buenos Aires, eventually settling in the Sierras of Córdoba where he lived until his death, in 1992. Konstantino’s work is best known for his unmistakable seascapes. Through his words and examples, Konstantino encouraged the artistic development of his sons.
